I opened Ambika Healing in 2018 whilst living in the Netherlands as a practice dedicated to holding space for authentic healing through the use of Ayurvedic massage practices and Thai massage techniques. Upon arriving in the US, I began studying therapeutic massage at the Northwest Academy of the Healing Arts in Seattle. Today, my practice integrates techniques from both my Eastern and Western training, with you always at its centre.
I deeply believe in the power of healing touch and consider it an honour to work in this field; facilitating healing in both the physical and emotional body. In order to return the body to a state of ease and alignment, I come to the body humbly and allow its wisdom to guide my work facilitating a release of tension through the use of techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, orthopaedic testing, ayurvedic abhyanga, ayurvedic marma manipulation, and Thai massage.
I am passionate about supporting clients in finding relief from pain, ease in movement, a deepening connection to their body and an understanding of the uniqueness of their needs.
