Bio

I took many paths before becoming a massage therapist. After years working as a nursing assistant, I graduated from the University of Washington, where I studied biology and nutrition, I then began working at a physical therapy clinic. Shortly after, I had the humbling experience of being a patient for a few major surgeries, managing ongoing medical complications, and accepting a lasting chronic condition.

Through this period of my life, I found bodywork to be the most enriching and safe space I had been in for my health. I decided to enroll in the Northwest Academy of Healing Arts in Seattle to become a licensed massage therapist. Since 2020, I have been working directly on bodies and helping people come home to their vessel and respect where they are.

I bring a gentle and curious tone to my bodywork to create a reintegration of self. I strive to facilitate a rebalancing of a person’s systems. Whether someone is burnt out or overstimulated from life’s stress, in pain from being overworked or injured, managing some symptoms of a chronic condition or disability, and working through tissue remodeling from a surgical procedure or cancer treatment, I aim to be helpful and insightful for my clients.

I am comfortable working with a wide range of people and the complexity of whatever it means to be healthy to you. By creating a space of shared communication and self awareness, I hope to leave you feeling more grounded in your being and having more respect for the human experience.
