I have been part of the Healing Arts Center since 1988. My specialty is TRAGER Psychophysical Integration; a mouthful to say, yes, but very lovely to feel. The Trager Approach involves an ‘educated’ stretching of the body’s tissues, encouraging opening, release and integration through an experience of undulations and rocking, articulation of joints, all within an “attitude” of light, freeing, effortless movement. Trager works deeply and holistically with the mind-body, pain free. I am also adept in Swedish massage and can accommodate a client’s desire for Lomi Lomi, some deep tissue work, stone massage, pregnancy, postpartum, chair massage, and injury and illness treatment. I am self-educated in nutrition, use of plant oils (DoTerra) and plant essences (Perelandra). I constantly delve into the subject of Consciousness through many avenues including the Avatar courses created by Harry Palmer. My initial training took me to Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2001 where I studied the art of traditional Thai massage with master teachers for two years.
